Volunteers
Work Rights Matter seeks volunteers particularly students and others with an interest in HR, industrial relations and law who can support workers facing unfair work practices.
Volunteers are required for the following tasks:
1. Distribution of Work Rights Matter posters to workplaces including public sector organizations, universities, colleges and schools.
2. Management of local support groups - online or in person in the local region. (In the first instance we are looking for volunteers in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Hobart).
3. Social media work - disseminate information via social media platforms about Work Rights Matter.
4. Provide basic support and referral service for workers.
5. Research and writing
Volunteers who are able to undertake an `internship' which is a closely monitored relationship between Work Rights Matter and the intern will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution to the work of Work Rights Matter.
