The purpose of making individual stories available online is so that bullied, unfairly dismissed or targeted workers can read about your experience and the processes which you followed, the obstacles that you encountered and/or are still encountering and the decisions you made to seek support.
Your story is important as it may empower someone that feels powerless and `battered' in the workplace as a result of bullying or targeted for dismissal. It may also help those unfairly dismissed to report toxic employers while also seeking remedies which may be open to them.
Empowering others to take steps to protect their work rights sends a strong message to those employers that break workplace laws.
Understandably your story is likely be an emotional journey for you if you have been bullied and/or unfairly dismissed or you have witnessed the impact of bullying, unfair work practices or dismissal on a friend, a colleague, a family member, etc. However, we ask that you try to focus your story on facts and refrain from individual employer or perpetrator bashing.
